Bay stallion, bought in Denmark in 1891. Engraved after a photograph of the real horse for Les Races chevalines (Paris, 1894), and restored from a scan of the book, with its name set beneath.
The print
Heavy ring-spun cotton, 207 g/m², dyed after sewing, so it comes soft and a little lived-in. Printed big on the back, about 28 × 29 cm. The engraving is in the public domain, restored here from a scan of the book.
