Arabian Embroidered Cap
The breedThe ArabianEverything with this horseA pure-bred Arabian. Engraved after a photograph of the real horse for Les Races chevalines (Paris, 1894), and traced from that engraving as one solid shape, its name stitched beneath.
The stitch
Cotton twill, unstructured and low, with a curved bill and an adjustable strap at the back. Embroidered on the front, in old gold thread on spruce and black, white on navy, navy on stone, and black on khaki and white. The engraving is in the public domain, restored here from a scan of the book.

One size, with an adjustable strap.

Care
Spot clean with a damp cloth. Air dry. Never iron the stitching.
